The South Shore Rowing Center is the Midwest's Premiere Recreational Rowing Destination!

For experienced rowers SSOWR offers distance rows, tours and vacation packages. All distance rows and tours include shell shuttle and transportation. Rows and tours are available on Lake Superior and inland lakes. For Lake Superior open water rows, the Alden 16 or an equivalent shell may be required.
The Magic of the Moment
In all of our outings, the focus is on safety, quality exercise and the "magic of the moment". The right things provided at the right time make all the difference. We want to create a "memorable moment" which includes the impact of the destination, rowing route, weather and people. After all, you can row at home!
