RecRowing™ was created to sell programs, systems, equipment and provide marketing support for sites which are licensed to use the RecRowing™ name. RecRowing™ is designed to serve community recreation programs, rowing clubs, outdoor stores, paddlesport shops, resorts, youth and church camps. RecRowing™ provides "turnkey" solutions to licensees.
RecRowing™ Mission
RecRowing™ was established to create new "portals of entry" to the sport of sculling. RecRowing™ provides equipment, systems and programs for the South Shore Rowing Center and other sites which include resorts, camps, retail stores and rowing clubs or community rowing programs. The goals are to remove risk, eliminate program development impediments and lower the financial barriers associated with becoming a recreational rowing site and being able to successfully train new participants.
RecRowing™ approves, lists and will provide referrals to sites which have recreational shells for rent and programs or tours for recreational rowers. Additionally, the sites will be able to purchase rowing equipment through RecRowing at a significant trade discount. There are currently RecRowing™ in Washburn, WI and Madison, WI. New sites are being pursued in St. Paul, MN, Shell Lake, WI, Duluth, MN and other communities and resorts within far north vacationland service of northern Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan's U.P.
