Outings and Tours
Tours and Outings originate from the South Shore Rowing Center in Washburn and fees include transportation, all equipment, towel, a specially formulated pre-row snack and a post row drink designed for quick recovery. Rows marked AM/PM can be reserved for the morning or evening and those marked DAY will require a full day.

note: All tours and outings require completion of our Half Day Course and at least one accomplished deep water row or equivalent sculling experience.

| NOTE: Snacks are Kashi bar (carbohydrate/protein). The shore lunch include sandwiches on sourdough bread, two meats or vegetarian option, lettuce, tomato, red onions, sweet peppers, sprouts, cheese, spreads, cold vegetable salads, tossed salad and a healthy beverage. |

There are 12 row tours available on Chequamegon Bay, Bark Bay and the inland lakes of the 860,000 acre Chequamegon National Forest including Lake Owen and Lake Namekagon. Long Lake is a motorless lake with perimeter hiking trail. Siskiwit Lake is used when conditions on Lake Superior are not favorable.
